Memorial Day!

This year for Memorial Day the Orem City Cemetery was having a patriotic program for who ever wanted to come. Nate's little brother Brandon is serving as a Marine in the Military and is being sent to Afghanistan in June for a year, SCARY! So we thought as a family it would be good for us to show the girls what Memorial Day is all about. They shot off some cannons, shot guns, and recognized each ranking of the military. They lowered all of the flags and replaced them with clean new ones. It's interesting how when you have someone close to you serving our country how much more emotional events, songs, etc. are when it's a little closer to home.











After the program we had a brunch at The Cochran's home and hung out with Nate's family for a couple of hours, then we headed to my mom's house and had a bbq with my family. It was a very memorable Memorial Day!
