Live Nativity in Alpine

So Nate & I came across this live Nativity while driving around with the kids trying to find homes with cool Christmas lights on them. This Live Nativity was AMAZING! You are walking along paths following the star to see baby Jesus. There were huge camels you could pet, donkeys, mules, goats, sheep, shepards, the 3 wiseman, roman soldiers stopping you to make sure you paid your taxes, etc. Then we got to Jerusalem and inside were more animals, and women, children, & men making yarn out of sheeps wool, children playing games with beans, and men selling items that they had made out of leather.
When we got to the barn where the star had led us, there was an angel singing and Mary, Joseph, and the Baby wrapped in swaddling clothes. Baby Jesus was crying when we first got in and then Mary soothed him and all the little girls just starred at the sweet baby in Mary's arms. Oh it was such a neat and peaceful experience and I am so happy we happened to fall upon it! It made me realize how important teaching my children about the true meaning of Christmas is:)
