New Year's Day we took advantage of Daddy being home from work and built a "snow cave."(that's what the girls called it) They claim they are going to sleep in it tonight.
New Year's Eve we were going to have some friends over for games and fireworks, but our family has been having a bug going around since Christmas Eve. So instead of getting our friends sick we stayed home, had pizza, watched movies and played games until mid-night and then Nate made us a fire in our fire pit outside and he let off a bunch of illegal fireworks left over from the 4th of July. The girls thought the mortars were a little freaky and we had a couple of close calls. Boys like such SCARY things!

Awesome snow cave! I was wondering why you didn't call us on New Years Eve....just kidding, i'm sorry you guys were sick! Next year lets get together for sure and light off some more of those fireworks :)
Fun fun fun!!! Too bad everyone in your family has been sick Brooklynn, I hope everyone is feeling better now! Sounds like you still had a fun New Years Eve though. Preston and I hung out by ourselves on New Years Eve and fell asleep before midnight, haha, pretty lame huh?
Anyway the girls look like that had a great Christmas, it was so fun to see you guys over the break. We love you!!
